On The Bridge (1995)
Writing and recording On the Bridge was a fun and very satisfying experience. The creative writing process with my music partner, Jeff Leonard, had really hit it’s stride. Our writing style was unusual, although certainly not unique. Most of the material would start with me and I would record it on a piano and record it, often times on the answering machine, then send that tape on to Jeff. Jeff would then take my themes or full songs and arrange them and piece the unfinished parts together with his own ideas. It worked. We had a top ten single with “Northern Lights”, the album received very good reviews and we even had a number of good synch placements.
